‘Get a Life’ Palladium Jewellery Collection had it’s debut at a glamorous party at The Wallace Collection and has been regarded as one of the highlights to Fashion Week A/W 2011. Westwood’s beautiful range of jewellery includes a collection of couture and commercial pieces.

The influence for her new collection came from Vivienne’s desire to stop climate change and sustain life. The stunning range has been carefully created from Palladium, which is a natural white, light and strong metal created from platinum. Vivienne’s collection is inspired by nature and pagan symbols to show the strength, power and hope required to help the planet environmentally.

Dame Vivienne Westwood says, “Get a life is not about jewellery. Get a Life is about how we can stop climate change and therefore preserve life for the next generation while at that same time get a better life. My focus at the moment is what on person can do. Stop climate change. Save the planet.

The party was even more exciting with special guests popping in to see the latest collection, including supermodel Lily Cole and 2011 Brit winning singer Jessie J. Lily Cole modelled an exclusive piece of jewellery from the couture collection while guests enjoyed a performance by Jessie J. with her hit single ‘Do it Like a Dude’. Jessie was also wearing a couture oak leaf tiara from Vivienne’s collection.
