Fashion Fringe’s 2011 Winner
Fashion Fringe, the competition for emerging talent in Britain, has announced its 2011 winner. FYODOR GOLAN are the lucky design duo that won the prestigious award and a host of prizes, including funds towards their next two collections, equipped studio space in Somerset House for two years and help with selling their collections. Started in 2010, FYODOR GOLAN comprises of Fyodor Podgorny and Golan Frydman as the design talent. It was with their SS12 collection, Flowers of Evil, that won the Fashion Fringe. With inspiration for the collection coming from Vincent Van Gogh’s representation of nature, it is easy to see why FYODOR GOLAN won.

Following in the footsteps of previous winners such as Basso and Brooke and Erdem, and being popular with a judging panel consisting of Rolan Moret, Claudia Schiffer and Selfridge’s buying director, Anne Pitcher, just to name a few; FYODOR GOLAN is definitely a name to watch in the near future.
