Man and Fashion East Announce Emerging Menswear Designers for SS12

Topman and Fashion East have announced the three up and coming menswear designers that are set to showcase their Autumn / Winter 12 collections at London Fashion Week in February. Shaun Samson will be making his second appearance after debuting last season, but this will be Anderson and Agi&Sam’s first foray into Man, which is now in its 14th season. Previous Fashion East graduates include Christopher Shannon and James Long.

Shaun Samson, Anderson and Agi&Sam were chosen by a panel that included which included Nicola Formichetti, Editor of GQ Style Ben Reardon, stylist Alister Mackie and Charlie Porter. “I love everything about these three designers; their diverse range of reference points, their model casting and styling, their appetite for hard work, and above all the sheer brilliance of the finished garments which are entirely wearable,” explained Fashion East director Lulu Kennedy.
For the first time, fashion East’s line up for the will be the same as last year. Showing their womenswear creations for Autumn / Winter 12 will be Maarten van der Horst, James Long and Marques’Almeida.
