London Fashion Week Day 2 – John Rocha

18-02-2012

The sheer theme continued as did patchwork panelling in dresses worn with shaggy lambskin gilets and jackets with an interesting result in silhouette – large and structured on the torso leading to skin tight tube skirts. Texture played a huge part in the collection with chunky crocheted dresses, appliqué georgettes, velvet, taffeta and of course the fur elements. Towards the end of the collection colour worked its way through in patchwork panels of dusty pink, green, gold and navy.

Models hair is messy and the make up is dishevelled highlighting the edgy, rock’n’roll theme which is balanced perfectly with the 3D flowers and sexy sheer panels hinting at something not quite so innocent. Another wonderful and interesting collection from John Rocha!
