This collection had a very oriental theme with a huge amount of sparkling brocade in silver and gold. The brocade was used throughout for skin tight cigarette pants, detachable collars that are worn over crisp white shirts and beautiful tailored jackets. Like many previous collections Osman used clean lines hanging away from the body yet somehow enhancing the feminine form. Stiff lapelled hoods in grey and black faded into oversized embroidery on shift dresses, fluffy bobble jewellery. Fitting with trends Osman utilized layers with mixed length capes and jackets with bold lining shining through under brocade. Leather worked its way into the collection in highwaisted skirts, tunic’s panels as well as fawn dip-dyed fur. While working to trends perfectly this collection also remained individual and edgy.
