ASOS.com Apprenticeship Interviews
02-11-2012
After receiving lots and lots of applications, we had the tough job of narrowing it down to just 20 candidates.
The final 20 were narrowed down (wasn’t easy!) and then were invited here to The Fashion Studio based at the University of East London for an interview activity day.
They interview process started at 10, and 3 ladies from the ASOS team came in and introduced themselves to everyone. Then the group interview started, the job role was explained in depth, telling all participants what ASOS expected from them and what this role could mean for their future careers in fashion. Candidates had to try and show their creativity and stand out from the crowd in their group interview, however little did they all know but they would have to put their creativity to the test and show of some of some their fashionable skills that afternoon.
In a group activity that afternoon, candidates were split into small groups and had to work together to design and customise t-shirts!
All while under the watchful eye of ASOS! Nervewracking.

Individuals were then called out for a one to one interview with all the normal processes and questions.
After that it was down to ASOS to pick who they thought would settle in best, and who they thought the role was really suited to.
“It was a really great day, and a really fun and creative interview process!”
A final few candidates were shortlisted down again, before being called into a one to one interview at the ASOS workplace where they could potentially be working!
Congratulations to Emily and Julia on getting the two positions at ASOS. Best of luck with your fashion future!
