Topshop Launches Festival Campaign With Kate Bosworth


The collection will range from shorts and dresses to waistcoats in 16 must-have festival pieces.


Kate commented on the collection saying, “I’ve always had a love for fashion. Learning experience from the Topshop design team has been a great opportunity for me.” She then went on to describe the collections pieces as “fresh, wearable” and “Effortless festival pieces”

A lover of festivals herself, Kate was spotted looking chic in some of the collections pieces at this years Coachella festival, back in April. Kate described the pieces as “fitting in perfectly with the mood of the Topshop.” No stranger to the high street brand, Kate recently sung in Topshop’s festive campaign, the video of which was shot by her fiance Michael Polish.

Topshop creative director, Kate Phelan described Bosworth as one of the Topshop teams inspirations. Phelan went on to talk about working with Kate while on the Christmas project, and comment on how she brought fresh ideas to the brand by bringing with her “incredible images and references and shared what her ultimate festival outfits looked like.”

The campaign which promotes ‘The discovery of music also features a short interactive film, The Road To Coachella, which features Bosworth on route to the festival, also filmed by her fiance Polish.

To celebrate the festival season further this year Topshop are planning on hosting a number of secret pop-up gigs at various locations worldwide. This is to help in supporting emerging and established artists on iTunes. These events will be open to Topshop customers through a series of online competitions to win tickets.
