New Bijou Store for Hatmakers Christys’

Following the huge success of Christys’ pop-up hat store, alongside the Somerset House ice rink last Christmas, the brand will open a stand-alone store in St James’s London on the 1st July.
The bijou store at 12a Princes Arcade will carry around 50 styles for both men and women in a full complement of sizes from 56 to 63 – making it an essential ‘little black book’ address.
Handcrafted in Britain Christys’ has an established heritage of 240 years of hat making by trained craftsmen and is one of very few manufacturers to survive the decline in hat wearing at the end of the 20th century.
With Liberty’s purchase of Christys’ London in 2011 the brand embarked on a revitalized journey to preserve the best traditions whilst adding a contemporary slant, enabling the brand to capitalize on renewed interest in British heritage brands and hat wearing.
Christys’ London, 12a Princes Arcade, St James’s, London will be open from 1st July 2013.
