Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust Visits The Factory

Founded in 1853, FTCT provides grants for the children of those working in the UK fashion and textile industry.

 

During her visit, Karen hosted special one-to-one sessions with team members keen to apply for a grant for their child. Designed to support all aspects of a child’s well-being, including sickness, disability, bereavement, and financial hardship, FTCT grants can provide funding for items such as school uniform, bedding, specialist clothing, mobility equipment, tutorial support and more.

 

“This is the first time FTCT have held a grant session within the workplace and it was really popular”, commented Karen, “I hope we get the chance to do it again.”

 

To apply, employees must have worked in any aspect of the fashion and textile industry, including design, manufacture, retail or distribution for a minimum of 1 year and there must be a case of need for their child.
