Marc Jacobs Removes ‘Neo

The top which features a graphic of a pair of boots detailed with Marc Jacobs name is very similar to a Neo-Nazi band, Screwdriver’s LP cover Boots and Braces.

A spokesperson for Marc Jacobs commented on the removal of the top saying, “it has been brought to our attention that the imagery on a T-shirt of ours is similar to that used by a band” commenting that they didn’t want to ‘make a connection to the band or make a statement. They removed the T-shirt shortly after alerts were raised, also offering their retail partners the same opportunity.

 The top has been removed from American online retailer Nordstrom, however is still currently available at Saks Fifth avenue.
