Peter Pilotto Partners with Target

The collaboration will be full of the brands statement, usual colour palette and distinctive prints featured on a range of women’s apparel, swimwear and accessories, designed by duo Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. Think the recent S/S 14 collection, floral printed, abstract shaped pieces and digital prints featured on swimwear and dresses, a colour palette of blues, greens and reds.
The collection which is limited-edition, will be available from February 2014, stocked and sold across Target branches in the US and Canada as well as on the online store. Not forgetting the international customers, Target is teaming up with Net-a-Porter to offer a selection of the collection globally.

The collection is not short of designs, consisting of over 70 items the collection will be priced at $15-80 for apparel and $17-$40 for accessories.
The designer duo, commented on the collaboration, Peter saying, “(the collaboration) allows us to broaden our reach and bring our design aesthetic to an entirely new audience.”
With Christopher commenting further, “This is a pivotal movement for our brand. The collection embodies the elegance and spirit of our own line, but makes it accessible to everyone.”
Target recently collaborated with 3.1 Philip Lim, is delighted with their new partnership, saying that it would help in introducing a democratic approach to a new audience. Trish Adams, senior vice president of apparel and accessories commented that the designer duo “have a rare talent for capturing the essence and energy of London that’s completely universal in its appeal.”
