Aquascutum Announce an Exciting Leap in Sales

The heritage brand reveals that the upward trend is due to an overall improvement in visitor flow, customer retention and conversation rate
In December, the Aquascutum, Great Marlborough Street store saw a 4% increase in footfall, attracting a headcount of close to 10,000 consumers. It’s an impressive statistic considering the newly launched flagship store was only unveiled the month before.

The website was also relaunched in September in preparation for the Autumn/Winter season. The redesign contributed to a 120% growth spurt in organic search traffic in comparison to the previous season. Paid search traffic, remarketing campaigns and email campaigns contributed to 8.3% of the websites total traffic and Aquascutum’s overall website visits were up 39% in the run up to Christmas, with an additional 55,943 unique visitors.
Total sales have grown by 121% since last season and there is an upward trend in the number of transactions and units sold. Up by 70% Aquascutum see these latest figures as a positive reflection on the brands financial comeback and predict an exciting year ahead.
