Marchesa Joins LFW SS15 Schedule

For one season only, the British brand will be showcasing in London, to celebrate Marchsea’s tenth anniversary. The brand, a New York Fashion Week regular is founded by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, who met while studying at the Chelsea College of Art in 1994.

 

Show-goers can expect an injection of Hollywood glamour this season through the Marchsea showcase, which is best known for its luxury gowns and bridal dresses, whispy layers of silk-tulle and full skirts.

 

Founder, Chapman commented “We’ve been speaking with British Fashion Council and felt it was a good way to celebrate our anniversary.” With Craig specifying that the move wouldn’t be a permanent one, “it’s a one-off celebration in London, and then we are back in New York in February. All our English friends and family can get an opportunity to celebrate with us.”
