J.W Anderson Announces First CEO

Jonathan William Anderson, founder of J.W Anderson has announced Simon Whitehouse as the labels first Chief Executive Officer. Whitehouse who has previously worked at brands Matthew Williamson and Diesel, was named CEO after Anderson announced the need for a “partner in crime” to help with the growing label, number of staff and increasing work.
The signing of a CEO follows LVMH’s investment, into the London Fashion Week brand. The investment which was made only 8 months ago has also seen and supported the eponymous label in relocating to a new head office and launch its first e-commerce site. The site which is set for a June launch, aims to offer products to a global market and expand the amount of products currently available.
Jonathan, founder of J.W Anderson commented on his new appointment saying, “I wanted someone who had a sales background and someone who could understand the needs of a small business and a younger team,” in an interview with Business of Fashion, he continues, “I liked the energy level, the idea that it can be done…just the way that he was speaking made me feel like he was someone I could trust and look up to and I thought I could learn from.”
