Angelina Jolie Designs a Limited Edition Shoe with Louboutin

Malangeli, the name of the exclusive new style, is inspired by Jolie’s latest role in the new Disney film, Maleficent, worn by the starlet to the global premiers of the movie.

The shoe features a sculpted wedge heel, a leather body and mesh detailing on the toes. The swirled design, designed specifically to give a hint of danger and an “illusion of magic”, as felt by Jolie’s character, described by a Louboutin spokesperson.

The shoe, which has been worn by Angelina in white, gold and black on the red carpet premiers, will only be available via pre-order from only four boutiques, in a black and red leather option, from October.

The Louboutin creative team commented on working with Jolie through the creative design process, saying, “It is exciting to work with someone who has such a strong aesthetic and character. Getting to know Angelina through a fun collaboration has been one of my greatest pleasures!”

Profits from the shoes sales will go to abandoned and orphaned children’s charity, SOS Children’s Villages, a charity close to Jolie’s heart.
