Copenhagen Fashion Week – 2 Designers To Note
20-08-2017
BAUM UND PFERDGARTEN
Designers Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave, creative directors behind Baum und Pferdgarten are season pros amid the Copenhagen Fashion Week schedule and exude elements of being feminine, fun and easy throughout their works.
For this season girls, modelled reinterpretations of the label’s most popular garments, including a striking wool check double-breasted coat (making a third season appearance) with a cross-body bag to match, a stiff blue doll dress and calf skimming gowns that paraded ruffles and florals.
The collection also saw a fusion of inspiration from sports and streetwear elements, with a nod to Silverlake and its heterogeneous array of styles and cultures.

STINE GOYA
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this season, Stine Goya experimented with subtle ways to salute the history of the label: trousers and suits were seen bedecked in a print of its signature peach colour, at the same time as a black robe coat being festooned with brightly embroidered lyrics of previous show soundtracks.
Traditionally best acknowledged for its botanical and romantic dresses, the latest sartorial outing from Stine Goya saw an amplified emphasis on tailoring, which was achieved to great effect. An elegant army of tulle and silk glittering Ophelia-esque dresses were at the top of every show attendee wish list, as well as the statement floral brocade pantsuit, decorated in a sea of vivid magenta and silver.
