Top 3 London Graduates To See at New York Fashion Week


The Big Apple tomorrow will become home to designers, models, photographers, journalists, publications, buyers, celebrities and many more as New York Fashion Week commences.

With Central Saint Martins, London, being cited as the top fashion education provider in the world, we take a look at the top 3 designers showcasing at New York Fashion Week who all graduated from the renowned university.

Jenny Packham

Originating from London, Jenny Packham graduated from Central Saint Martins with a first class honours before launching her highly successful ready-to-wear and bridal gown brand.  Worn by the likes of HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, Blake Lively, Emily Blunt and Kate Winslet to name a few, Packham and her gowns are celebrated worldwide.

Jenny Packham will showcase at The Dock on Sunday 11th September at 4pm. 

Francesca Liberatore

After graduating from Central Saint Martins in 2007, Liberatore worked for numerous fashion houses including Viktor & Rolf before going on to win the Next Generation competition in Milan, which saw her earn a spot on the catwalk.  Her womenswear collection is now seen and worn globally from New York to Paris, Milan to Shanghai.

Francesca Liberatore will showcase at The Dock on Friday 9th September at 5pm.

Marcel Ostertag

Based in Germany’s bright and beautiful capital city, Marcel Ostertag founded his self-named label in 2006 using his surroundings as inspiration.  At the heart of his collection lies his values in sustainable production, quality materials and fair production conditions which see the brands garments only being manufactured in Germany.

Marcel Ostertag will showcase at The Gallery on Tuesday 13th September at 7pm.
