In line with the Looksgreat.co.uk – New Designer category we collaborated with the Looksgreat team to present a catwalk showcase of ten up and coming designers in conjunction with the launch of our state of the art FTA training facility.
Today, Monday 4th April, the team have officially launched the Looksgreat.co.uk website where you can search, pin, share and buy all the items featured. You can also view the designs presented in our collaborative fashion show from the likes of RIXO, Yu Universe, Riona Treacy, Kirsteen Stewart and CWS Couture amongst other ones to watch.
The new designer category also provides online exposure for new talent. Once through the simple vetting process, the designer uploads – for free – their latest designs, a short biography about themselves and social media links onto their own individual page. The new designers looks will sit on the shopping pages next to the likes of McQueen and Topshop, a position most new talent could only dream of, a hugely powerful tool for new designers to be seen, for no cost. The fashion forward shopper gets the chance to buy a potential one-off or limited run item from what could be Britain’s next top fashion designer.
Another standout feature is the ability to pin the looks and items found as well as your own images to create personal style boards within the site, these can be shared these across social media channels with your friends and followers, to get their opinions…then simply click to buy the looks. The Looksgreat team understands the power of social media, the way it is changing how people shop, the way they make their decisions and are influenced by others. You are the fashion stylist. You create the style boards. Couldn’t be simpler.
Established featured brands include high street staples such as Topshop, River Island, House of CB, and Kurt Geiger, to the more high end designers; House of Holland, Paul Smith, and red carpet favourites Marchesa and McQueen to name just a few. Simply type in what you want to search and let Looksgreat do the rest, search over 250,000 items instantly.
