Jenny Holloway added: “A big thank you to IUK and DMU for inviting me to speak to a wide cross section of industry representatives at ‘Shaping the Future of Sustainable Fashion’.
“I was there to discuss Digital Fashion and Robotics and provided an overview of the innovations we have collaborated on with Kornit, Style3D, and now Maeknit from New York. There was great engagement during the presentation and it’s always great to have direct audience participation!
“There’s currently a great opportunity for fashion now. A unique opening for brands and manufacturers to work as one, and real drive towards the benefits of proximity sourcing and carbon footprint reduction. With Trump adding on 10% tariffs for imported Chinese goods into USA we can now really reap the benefits of making in the UK. This is exactly why we’re hosting the Leicester Made event on 14th May at Athena in Leicester.”
