The event will take place in the industrial setting of Fashion Enter’s Fashion Technology Academy – a revolution in itself intertwining real manufacturing skills into accredited learning across a range of qualifications including design, grading, quality control, fabric cutting and much more!

Designers ethically producing at the Fashion Enter’s Fashion Studio will be invited to celebrate Fashion Revolution Day for the ‘Designer | Model Networking event’ where they will have the opportunity to see their designs come to life on the rising stars of the modelling world trained by London Model Academy; a reputable model advice service ethically supporting young models. Live photo shoots will take place as guests enjoy drinks and music whilst networking with up and coming creative talent across the fashion industry. Designers will receive professional look book images of their garments whilst models will further their experience and expand their portfolios.

Attention Designers! If you would like to take part in the ‘Designer | Model Networking Event’ in association with London Model Academy and in line with Fashion Revolution Day please contact jenni@fashion-enter.com for further details. There is a nominal £50 plus vat admin fee and for this you will receive the networking event with free drinks and five free images of your collection.

London Model Academy is a veracious and reputable model support service providing opportunities for new aspiring models wanting to further their career in the fashion, beauty or commercial modelling industry. www.londonmodelacademy.co.uk

Why do we need a Fashion Revolution?

On 24 April 2013, 1133 people died in the Rana Plaza catastrophe in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A further 2500 were injured. They were killed while working for familiar fashion brands in one of the many ‘accidents’ that plague the garment industry.

Fashion Revolution is a global coalition of designers, academics, writers, business leaders and parliamentarians calling for systemic reform of the fashion supply chain.
