Meet, Hear, Discuss and Network Next Wednesday 4th November

The FEL team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make Manchester Made & Regions 2026 – a must-attend event for British manufacturing!

Manchester Made & Regions is an extension of the successful Leicester Made & Regions event, which brought together UK manufacturers, brands, retailers and industry partners to showcase domestic production capabilities and create new commercial connections.

Developed collaboratively with Source Fashion we’ve secured major engagement from buying and sourcing teams representing leading brands. The message is clear: UK manufacturing is firmly on the radar!

Suppliers, it’s time to be discovered! We’re seeing growing interest from retailers in UK-made capsule collections and short production runs. It’s time to open doors to new contracts, made-to-demand, open-door transparency, and put local factories at the heart of Britain’s manufacturing future.

And there’s more! Major announcements will be made at the event, with European journalists joining us to cover these special addresses.

Join us for a day of industry insight, connections and action, including a fireside chat with Patrick Grant.

Interested in exhibiting? Only a few spaces left, please email: beth@fashion-enter.com to enquire.

Discussing the Autumn Budget

With the Chancellor’s Autumn Budget, announced today (28th October), the focus quickly turns to what it means for businesses, employers and the wider UK economy.

Our CEO, Jenny Holloway, will be attending a post-Budget discussion this evening at Lowick Hedry in King’s Cross, bringing together political and business experts to examine the implications of the Budget and what comes next.

The event, Budget Night at Lowick Hedry, will feature Stefan Boscia, Politics Newsletter Editor at The Times and former author of POLITICO’s London Playbook, alongside Scarlett Maguire, founder of Merlin Strategy. The discussion will be chaired by Kevin McKeever, CEO of Lowick Hedry.

With the Budget likely to prompt important questions about the economic outlook and the environment in which businesses operate, the evening offers an opportunity to hear expert perspectives, explore the potential implications and exchange views with fellow attendees.

For Jenny, the discussion will provide a valuable opportunity to reflect on the announcements and consider what they could mean for businesses in the months ahead.

Celebrating Community Through Creativity

Fashion-Enter Ltd and FC Designer Workspace are proud to have supported a community art project celebrating the people, cultures and stories that make Finsbury Park unique.

Unveiled on 21st October, two vibrant murals at Finsbury Park Station were shaped by local voices, with FC Designer Workspace staff member Hawi Burka and resident Raquel de Carvalho among those contributing to the project.

Delivered by Allie’s Art Club, the initiative celebrates local identity, creativity and community spirit, with colourful lamp post banners also bringing the neighbourhood to life.

We’re delighted to see our team and residents helping shape the community around us, proving that creativity can bring people together far beyond the workplace!

Brightfiber Halts Textile Fibre Production as Circular Fashion Faces a Harsh Commercial Reality

And Finally…

It’s been wonderful to catch up with designer Aimee Joyce four years after we first featured her on FashionCapital and see how her business has grown into a distinctive British fashion brand. From bespoke couture to ready-to-wear, Aimee’s journey is a fantastic example of how technical skills, determination and creativity can turn ambition into reality. Her lovely words about Jenny Holloway, describing her as a “strong, inspiring woman who believed in her”, are a reminder of the importance of encouragement and mentorship in nurturing the next generation of British fashion talent. Check back on FashionCapital > Insights for our latest interview with Aimee.

Until next time, have a great week.
