Farewell 2025 – It’s Been Another Big Year for Team FEL

As we wrap up 2025, here are the highlights of what’s made it such a standout year for Fashion-Enter Ltd and its family of brands – FashionCapital, FTA, FC Designer Workspace and Leicester Made:
- Industry leadership: FEL CEO Jenny Holloway appointed Chair of ATMF, strengthening the voice of UK manufacturers and championing ethical, sustainable production.
- Leicester Made 2025: Over 1,000 industry professionals joined us in May for a landmark trade event celebrating UK fashion manufacturing, innovation and skills.
- Source Fashion 2025: Record attendance and a strong UK presence, showcasing ethical British manufacturing on an international stage.
- Skills & jobs: Delivery of UKSPF-funded Skills Bootcamps, apprenticeships and hands-on training, creating real pathways into fashion manufacturing for local communities and career changers.
- Collaboration & innovation: New partnerships, including Maeknit at FEL Haringey, bringing advanced knit technology and future-focused manufacturing into education and production.
- Social impact: £1.3m in positive social value generated at FC Designer Workspace, plus a second cohort of Hope-FX, supporting young adults through fashion training and wellbeing.
- Awards & recognition: Shortlisted for Drapers’ Fashion Supplier of the Year and crowned Small Business of the Year at the Franco-British Business Awards 2025.
- Raising standards: Announcement of the UK’s first National Textile Quality Mark, setting new benchmarks for ethics, sustainability and quality.
- Government & policy engagement: Hosting key visits, including David Lammy MP, highlighting the importance of skilled, ethical UK manufacturing.
- Learning & community: Masterclasses, speaker events, short courses, free repair and upcycling sessions — sharing skills and opening doors across the industry.
- People first: A continued focus on staff wellbeing, inclusive culture and celebrating the people behind FEL and its family of brands.
