On Friday, May 23rd, Fashion-Enter Ltd educator, and designer, John Herrera, showcased his current collection and archive designs at the “Creative Sustainability Where Fashion Meets Art” event held at The House of Lords in Westminster.
“Creative Sustainability Where Fashion Meets Art”, presented by Parkfleet Consultancy & Services Ltd in collaboration with Marie Fairbank and Lanre Olagoke MBE, presented four designers from different countries to showcase their work in this prestigious venue.

The Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) Level 3 students assisted backstage, helping to dress the models, providing support to the designers, and even modelling on the catwalk. This experience offered the students a fantastic opportunity to participate in a real fashion show in an exclusive setting.
John’s collection thoroughly captivated the audience. At the end of the show, John and the Level 3 students joined the models on stage to receive enthusiastic applause and cheers from the crowd.
FTA Head of Education, Lan Leeder said: “Wow, John’s collection was breathtaking! The details on the dresses, the craftsmanship, and his designs are spectacular! This is also a wonderful opportunity for the students to take part in such a unique event, and one student even modelled on stage. Congratulations to John, and well done to the students involved!”

Fashion-Enter Ltd / FTA CEO, Jenny Holloway added: “What a fantastic opportunity for the Level 3 students of CCCG through the collaborative course with FEL’s FTA! This is just what learning for industry should be about and we’re delighted to have facilitated this.
“Due to a change at the CEO level we’re no longer working as a contractor after working together for 24 years! It’s an end of an era. To all the wonderful tutors that we have met and the quality teams we honestly wish you the very best! To the learners – it’s been brilliant to meet you all and good luck with your careers.”
“Big congratulations to John for presenting his incredible and inspiring designs, the students have been thrilled to learn from him.”
