“My close friend has a wonderful daughter Lydia who is 11 years old.
 

She was recently diagnosed with Leukaemia. I really didn’t know anything substantial about Leukaemia and I certainly didn’t realise how devastating Leukaemia can be. The more I have learnt about leukaemia the more I realise the enormous strides that have been made in research to fight leukaemia. There is now a high percentage chance of full recovery for certain types of Leukaemia for children but the need for research has to continue.

I wanted to do ‘something’ to raise money. I hate heights but sometimes you have to move out your comfort zone and do something that counts!

On Sunday 28th April I am jumping out of an aeroplane with my son Thomas. It will be 12000 feet up! My stomach has just rolled at the very thought!
