Students visit to The Factory

This week we had a group of year two students from the University of Southampton visit both the Factory and the Fashion Studio

The BA(Hons) Fashion Marketing course at the University of Southampton aims to ensure our students academic studies are complemented with real life experiences. The visit to Fashion Enters new manufacturing facility gave our students excellent first hand experience of fashion manufacturing in the UK. Jenny and her team gave a very insightful account of fashion production in the UK, it challenges and opportunities. Fashion Enter have a fantastic set-up and are well placed to capitalise on the growing interest in UK manufacturing and all the benefits that short lead-time production can bring to brands and retailers. Overall a very informative day for our students to complement their studies.

Paul Mackie, Senior Teaching Fellow, University of Southampton

This is all part of our education and learning programme which provides students a real insight into the industry.

If you are from an educational establishment and feel this would benefit your students please email jenni@fashion-enter.com. We are able to tailor make visits to fit in with your curriculum.
