River Island to attend Apprenticeship Open Day!
On 12th February from 10.00am – 16.00pm Fashion Enter will open its doors for an Apprenticeship open day, inviting potential employers and candidates to informally meet each other and learn all about the 24 month programme.
We are delighted to confirm high street giant River Island will be coming along to meet with current apprentices, the tutors and have an informal chat with candidates wishing to join the programme
Additionally we are also pleased to welcome leading London Fashion Week designer Jonathan Saunders to the programme who has also confirmed they would like to hire two apprentices!
If you are aged between 16 – 24 and can see yourself working in the industry for names such as River Island and Jonathan Saunders please submit your CV to jenni@fashion-enter.com
The open day takes place at The Fashion Studio, 12th February from 10.00 – 16.00. Email jenni@fashion-enter.com to confirm your attendence.
The Factory Open Day
We love manufacturing!
Come and celebrate the opening of our new factory this Valentines Day! On 14th February we will be welcoming guests to come and review the new premises where we are anticipating production levels of 7,500 each week.
Made in Britain
Collyer Bristow and FashionCapital will host an evening showcasing the very best in up and coming British fashion design and manufacturing excellence on 21st March from 6.00pm – 8.30pm. Leading industry figures, buyers and press will be invited to enjoy the fashion soiree and review the designer collections.

FashionCapital in Latvia 2013!
Designers – there is still time to apply for representation at the Fashion & Textiles 2013 exhibition in Latvia this year!
FashionCapital has been invited to exhibit at one of the most important events in the fashion and textile industry in the Baltics. From 19th – 21st April we will be representing a carefully selected cross section of UK designers in Riga at the 18th international textile, clothing, leather garments and production equipment exhibition Fashion & Textile 2013(formerly known as Intertextil Balticum).
To be considered for representation you must be ready with your collection, a confirmation of order sheet, range plan, wholesale price list, look book and business cards.

On 31st January FashionCapital and Paula Arkell from Courtenay Connect will be presenting at the Careers Forum event in a seminar on ‘How to get a Promotion’ talking about the best ways to get that promotion, Careers advice and how we can help you with your career! Fashion Careers Workshop – 5th February at The Factory
This is the first in a series of workshops are aimed Graduates (Entry Level), First Job Movers (Intermediate) and Management (Advanced) and anyone who has a passion for fashion and retail and take their career development seriously.
