FashionCapital in Latvia 2013!
Following last week’s announcement of our trip to Latvia to represent UK designers we have already received a fantastic response!
FashionCapital has been invited to exhibit at one of the most important events in the fashion and textile industry in the Baltics. From 19th – 21st April we will be representing a carefully selected cross section of UK designers in Riga at the 18th international textile, clothing, leather garments and production equipment exhibition Fashion & Textile 2013 (formerly known as Intertextil Balticum).
To be considered for representation you must be ready with your collection, a confirmation of order sheet, range plan, wholesale price list, look book and business cards.

Fashion Business courses with David Jones – 23rd January

David is recognised by many as the master of fashion business training and has successfully lectured in both the UK and International arenas.
Come and be entertained and informed by his unique approach to training. Commencing with a one day initial introductory seminar on January 23rd 2013 David will roll out a programme of inspirational lectures throughout the year.

David is an expert on the subject and delivered an extremely enjoyable course without the use of boring powerpoint presentations or notes etc – he spoke about all the different aspects of the business and told great stories using his 1st hand experiences over the years and gave great advice too. The two day course flew by way too fast. Fashion Careers Workshop – 5th February
This is the first in a series of workshops are aimed Graduates (Entry Level), First Job Movers (Intermediate) and Management (Advanced) and anyone who has a passion for fashion and retail and take their career development seriously.

CAD/CAM Pattern Making course
The CAD/CAM vetigraph course commenced at the Fashion Studio last Thursday with learners on the five week course getting off to flying start….

Attention Photographers!
FashionCapital is looking for two budding fashion photographers to photograph London Fashion Week this season!
This is fantastic experience and a great opportunity to add to your portfolio of work. We need two photographers who will be given two different briefs.
One will photograph a series of catwalk shows across the five day event.
One will focus on Street Style and confidently approach stylish fashionistas to snap their outfits for FashionCapital!
