David Jones brings his very successful fashion business courses to Fashion Capital in 2013.
David is recognised by many as the master of fashion business training and has successfully lectured in both the UK and International arenas.
Come and be entertained and informed by his unique approach to training. Commencing with a one day initial introductory seminar on January 23rd 2013 David will roll out a programme of inspirational lectures throughout the year.
The initial programme will address:
-
Self marketing techniques
-
Building a successful organisation from manufacture to marketing.
-
A new year – a new start – a new approach
‘David Jones’ 2 day Fashion Management course was my introduction to David and his fascinating insight into the world of fashion. David is an expert on the subject and delivered an extremely enjoyable course without the use of boring powerpoint presentations or notes etc – he spoke about all the different aspects of the business and told great stories using his 1st hand experiences over the years and gave great advice too. The 2 day course flew by way too fast. This was the start of our working relationship and he has been my business advisor for almost 3 years now and I wouldn’t be able to run my business without him.‘

Christmas Greetings & What the PR Dispensary can do for you!
Emerging labels and designers often get in touch and ask: ‘What we can do for them?’
A fair enough question when budgets are tight and there is the incentive to try and do it yourself.
The main part of the answer centres around the contacts that myself and the FashionCapital team have built up over the last decade; we liaise on a daily basis with these contacts and have prior knowledge of lead times and seasonal stories that are appropriate for each individual journalist/publication. Mass mailing doesn’t work; journalists receive so many press releases a day that a more personal approach is needed. It is indeed a matter of ‘who you know’ when it comes to the PR side of the business.
At the moment requests are coming in for products/designs for:
Valentine’s Day
Key spring trends
Mother’s Day
Wedding attire for Bride & Groom and guests
Unique fitness/sportswear
Products with a strong USP
And travel pieces
Please get in touch with JoJo jojo@fashioncapital.co.uk if you would like to get your designs seen by press.
The office will be closed from the 21st December and re-opening on the 4th January 2013.
We hope you have a fabulous Christmas and an eventful New Year!
