Take a look at just a few of the messages received so far from participants:
‘Thank you very much for inviting Vauxhall City Farm to have a stand at today’s event. The team really enjoyed it and apparently the Queen actually shook Rob’s hand! He was holding a chicken at the time! Lots of people visited the stand after the Queen so I’m sure our profile in that part of London has risen enormously.’ Nigel Rust
‘I just wanted to say a huge Thank You for including us for the Queen’s Visit. Jane said it was a great honour to be there and actually meet The Royal Couple!!’ Goat
‘I hope you can all manage a night off. I am raising my glass to you all for your efforts. It was such a lovely day and an experience I will never forget. Just to be in a room with such talent was an honour. Thank you all and congratulations.’ Nicola Woods from Beautiful Soul

The Latest from British Designers @ FashionCapital Boutique Bath
It’s not every week you can say you’ve meet the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh but that’s how this week began for the FashionCapital team. As a part of Bromley’s Jubilee celebrations FashionCapital Director, Jenny Holloway, escorted the Queen around the various fashion displays, meeting designers and the team. Meanwhile, JoJo, the British Designers manageress, meet the Duke of Edinburgh in the Fashion Cycle pod which displayed the various stages of production from sketch idea to finished product. The Duke chatted and joked to the team and Desiree did a great job explaining the process to him! Well done all for a great event. It was also fantastic to see so many of our inspiring designers in one place: Bora Aksu, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Jeff Banks, John Rocha, PPQ, Hemyca, Alice Palmer and the list goes on.

London in general has been hit by Jubilee mania and features some eye-catching displays from ballgowns and crowns at Harrods to the Britannica 1951 – 1953 exhibition at Selfridges. By the way if you are in central London then you must check out Selfridges windows, each scene is based on a typically British activity from having a pint at the pub to outdoor music festivals and each window is so well done and full of humour.

The boutique will be closed from the Sunday 27th and will re-open at a later date. Just one more Newsletter entry from us next week until we re-open.
