The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations
FashionCapital is delighted to announce they will be assisting Bromley Council with its celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee taking place in May this year. This is a huge honour to be a part of this high profile event and over the next few weeks will be revealing all so watch this space!
Can you predict the Future of Fashion?
As part of the celebrations, today see’s the launch of an exciting new competition culminating in a large scale dynamic exhibition and the chance for the winners to earn total prize money of £500!
It’s easy! All you have to do is predict the Future of Fashion. We are looking for original and inspiring illustrations depicting what you think the future of fashion will look like. Each illustration can be created in a media of your choice. At this stage simply send your illustration to info@fashioncapital.co.uk to enter the competition.
The top five entries will then be enlarged to create an impressive installation illustrating ‘The Future of Fashion’ as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in May this year!

Profile in association with LGE – extended early bird discount!
Designer’s great news – the 15% early bird discount has been extended for a further two weeks! So if you have been thinking about taking part in the three day fashion and trade event of the year for 2012 now is the time to book!
This year Profile will be held at the Business Design Centre from 29th – 31st August 2012 and will play host to some of the UK’s best designers, national & international retailers and an array of the finest manufacturing houses worldwide
There are a variety of options available with stand space so please do complete this Expression of Interest form and return to jenni@fashion-enter.com who will then be in touch with all options and costs.

Huge Fabric sale at The Workshop
Due to an over whelming response from the fabric sale taking place at the Workshop this weekend the sale will now only take place on Saturday 3rd of March as everything will go!
The doors will be open at the Workshop to sell both lengths and rolls of fabric that have accumulated over the last six years.
There is a wide selection of cloths available from linen to polyester, woven and jersey and plain and print.
Credit cards can be taken and all purchases made will be given a receipt. If you require an invoice this can be arranged too.
The doors open at 10.00 am on Saturday 3rd March and will be closing at 16.00 hrs.

The Collection at Chinawhite
FashionCapital is looking for designers to take part in this ultra glamorous show at exclusive London hotspot Chinawhite. The Collection promotes new and emerging designers to a mix of press, fashion industry figures and consumers as well. The clientele at the show will be incredibly high end and we are looking for luxurious designers to take part.

Bath in Fashion
As the week moves into March the city of Bath is gearing up for its third instalment of Bath in Fashion. Held from 23rd March – 1st April the event is choc-full of talks, catwalk shows, seminars, promotions and more. From Manolo Blahnik to Stephen Jones the line-up is certainly looking good this year.

Bath Life’s ‘Fashion Night Out’

Designer Fashion Show
One of Bath in Fashion’s catwalk highlights is a headline fashion show at glittering The Assembly Rooms. The show, staged by international show producer John Walford, will include glamorous hot-off-the-catwalks designs and styled by London fashion consultant, Rebekah Roy.
Fashion Your Future
This event is a must for anyone who has ever wanted to work in fashion. Career clinic and career speed dating will bring insight into the many opportunities available within the fashion industry and our very own Jenny Holloway will be on the panel.
