With just over a week to go the Profile fashion event is really taking shape. We have a fantastic selection of ladies, men’s and accessory designers who will be showcasing their S/S12 collections to an impressive guest list of press and buyers!
Confirmed guests include London Tonight, WWB who are looking to interview a selection of designers for both their online and print publication, Drapers Record, Look Magazine, Reveal and Sarah Mower from the Daily Telegraph. Retailers and buyers include the Head of Buying at House of Fraser for the Therapy section, Debenhams, John Lewis, New Look, asos.com, Topshop, Oasis and much more!

November @ One Marylebone – consumer event!
If you would like to attend Profile this year we have now opened a section up to consumers! You will be able to purchase designs from up and coming designers including Only Way is Essex star Lauren Goodger who will be launching her fashion range and selling her beauty products.
Shoppers will also get a sneak preview into the S/S 12 lines of the industry’s most talented rising stars!

Menswear Competition with Debenhams
We are delighted to confirm the following four menswear designers will be showcasing at Profile this year as part of the Menswear competition at Debenhams. Debenhams will select two winners at the evening VIP gala and these designers will then have their collections sold in two of Debenhams flagship stores!

The Latest from BD@FC Boutique in Bath
Never a dull moment at British Designers @ FashionCapital Bath, this week we collaborated with photographer Tim Baker, Shoot DHS Model Sophie Choy, Artizan hair and make-up artist Ellee Hitchens on a photoshoot for Masato’s capsule Bath collection. Set against the elegant Bath stone Masato’s clean silhouettes looked incredibly striking – we can’t wait to see the results and share them with you soon. Here is a behind the scenes peek…
Also in the pipeline we are planning some educational seminars for higher education and degree students. As well as another ‘Sample Sale’ and ‘Prepare to Party’ event.
For all those Goat London fans out there, and we know there are a few; a new batch from Goat is due in this week. You’ll need to be quick though as the Goat knits sell out fast!

- Forecasting/Budgeting – Why bother to forecast? Tips on how to forecast and how to make good use of a variable forecast.
- Costing/Pricing – How to pitch your price. Are you going to recover your costs?
- Break Even Point – How much do you need to sell to start making money? How much money will you make as your sales increase? How will your pricing decision affect the answer to these questions? This section will give you an easy-to-use method of working this out – a tool that will be very useful in helping you take sound business decisions.
