Bath Boutique – open for Business!

The launch of the British Designers@FC Boutique in Bath took place last week where local press, industry figures and potential customers were invited to enjoy a very British ‘high tea high fashion’ experience with delicate bite sized cakes on vintage china, tea and of course champagne. A steady flow of faces ranged from Bath Life Magazine to renowned journalist Iain R Webb. The local newspaper ‘The Bath Chronicle’ came in to shoot Bath grad – Natalie Ellis’ collection on our model Bek – alongside Louise Pickles – the fashion design course director at Bath Spa Uni. A good time was had by all and by the end of the evening Stef and I were ready for a serious amount of shut eye.

We are now open for business so do pop by the British Designers @ FashionCapital boutique whenever you are visiting the world heritage city of Bath!

Boutique pick of the Week

Our favourite piece from the boutique this week is this deep plum long line jacket. This season is all about ‘the coat’ with outerwear being the most important statement to make through the Autumnal and winter months and this tulip bottomed fitted jacket is a versatile and elegant option for any fashion savvy buyer looking to make the transition from summer to the colder weeks ahead. With its fabulously flattering colour and tight cinched in waist this classic looking coat can take you stylishly from day through to night and the exquisite pleated collar ensures that this is one wardrobe staple you cannot live without this season.
