Profile – May fair Hotel – 6th September 2010
The much anticipated Profile fashion event is set to take place next Monday 6th September 2010 at the prestigious May Fair hotel London! News just in that Sarah Mower from the Daily Telegraph has confirmed attendance as well as over 80 further press and buyer contacts!
The screening day for designers took place in the Amba Salon of the May Fair hotel last Friday. The standard was extremely high and we are very excited to showcase over 20 new and emerging designers set to storm the fashion industry!

BrandAlley Little black dress press day at the Mayfair Hotel
Today BrandAlley and Fashion Enter will be holding a press day at the prestigious Mayfair hotel for the little black dress competition. 10 top fashion Journalists have been invited for a luxurious and indulgent afternoon at the Mayfair’s beautiful Amarillo suite for high tea and a personalized fitting with Fashion Enter’s very own expert garment technician. Journalists will be fitted and have the opportunity to choose one of the ten finalists bespoke little black dresses which will be tailored to fit. All the finalists Little black dresses will be available for sale on the Brand Alley website from mid September.

The next photo shoot for the fcboutique.co.uk will take place on the 9th September in the Croydon studio. If you have not yet expressed interest or are not already utilising this service, you need to contact Emily@fashioncapital.co.uk to feature within this additional potential revenue stream for your business. We are continuously working on the site to enhance its usability and launch marketing campaigns to help increase sales for your label. Please ensure you send your products for the photoshoot by Monday 6th September. Also, if any designers have other professional photography please send through to Emily@fashioncapital.co.uk as you may be selected to feature on the homepage of the website.
Launch of the British Designers @FC Boutique – Bath
FashionCapital has joined forces with L&R Group to bring a unique and stylish retail concept to Bath. The launch of the British Designers@FCboutique Bath takes place tomorrow with guests set to enjoy high tea, champers and some great designer fashion all at once!
Boutique designers include – Atalanta Weller, Bora Aksu, Emma Cook, Erdem, Felder Felder, Goat, Hannah Marshall, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Julien MacDonald, Louise Amstrup, Osman, PPQ in room 1 – in room 2 we have up and coming names such as Romeo Pires, Zoe Boomer, Safron Knight, Hemyca, Dean McConell and many more.
The Collection – Avant-Garde – DATE CHANGED
The Collection has moved to Merah on the 16th of September at Merah, Oxford Street, London.
The Collection is in association with www.edgemodels.co.uk and is all about promoting fresh designer and model talent!
To showcase in The Collection fashion show costs designers £150 +VAT.
This covers the costs of models, styling, organisation, guest list access for the designer and friends/colleagues/family etc and a set of catwalk images for the designers to keep as well as access to the professional film of the show.
The Collection is a huge project that pulls together two great talent focussed organisations and delivers a night to remember!

Clothes Show Live 2010
Not only is the FashionCapital retail name taking the online shopping scene by storm, we will be returning once again to the Clothes Show Live supporting a range of our designer members across 24 stands. This vast 6 day event is the largest fashion and beauty consumer event on the planet and is therefore the perfect selling opportunity for your label to utilize the 185,000 hungry shoppers eager to pick up a piece of the finest up and coming designer fashion.
The internationally acclaimed Profile event will also be returning to the stage for you to truly captivate your target market, and with leading fashion industry figure heads floating around the NEC including the likes of Hilary Alexander and Erin O’Connor poses more fantastic networking opportunities. Goodbye Vanessa
Vanessa is now set to leave the FashionCapital team. Its a sad farewell after many years and Director Jenny Holloway wanted to add these final few words:
