South Africa Delegates to Visit

Fashion Enter is hosting a week long visit for South African delegates who will be looking at best practices and lessons learnt in the UK to take back to South Africa. The delegates will also be looking at a cross section of not for profit and private organisations min the UK and looking to create trade links for beaders and crafters. Fashion Enter will be discussing potential sales opportunities for our designers in South Africa. We are delighted to welcome the delegates who will arrive next Sunday.

FashionCapital in Miami

5 of our designers are currently showcasing in Miami!

This week is the Miami Swim Show and 5 of our best swim and summer wear designers are being exhibited to top US buyers and press as thet pass through the prestigious Miami Swim Show!

In November, Fashion Capital will be showing at the Coast Show – we are currently preparing to set up a FashionCapital Boutique in the Miami Coast show. Prices and more details will follow shortly!

Fashion Enter Open day on Tuesday the 20th of July

The afternoon will be informative with the opportunity to hear about our services including the PR dispensary, photo shoot service, creative design service and also the fashion capital membership. You will also hear about how the showroom works and speak to some of the key people at Fashion Enter. We currently have over 30 people attending so if you have not rsvp’d then we only have a few spaces left so please do so asap by emailing Emma@fashion-enter.com. We will email you with more information soon. Remember all designer must bring their collection samples. Please also send the following via email:

1. Spec sheet – one simple form to be filled out indicating information like leadtimes, minimum and maximum prices etc

2. Professional images if you have them please send them over

3. Press – if you have press we would love to see it.

Debenhams

We have the SGS accreditation for our workshop now so the Debenhams orders will be coming soon. However the buyer has left and there is a new buyer. They would like to review their selection and we have called another meeting for the 5th of August.

Topshop

We have had some interest from Topshop and we would like to show them what we have to offer in the way of new collections. We would like you to send us professional images of your collections so that we can send this information on to the buyer.  Please send to Lynsay@fashion-enter.com

The Fashion Capital E-Boutique Photoshoot!

The new FashionCapital Eboutique will be launching soon and we are all working flat out to create the best online shopping experience we can!

On Friday the Fashion Enter Boutique, Croydon will be using its photography studio all day to shoot the stock for the new e-boutique launching soon!

FashionCapital are teaming up with the May Fair Hotel to bring you Profile this September!

We are in the early stages of planning the next Profile event – we are looking for designers to be involved. The event is going to be industry exclusive and the show will feature only the best couture collections.

Stitch in Time

Upon the completion of the Stitch in Time programme and the end of the 10 years of support to local residents and businesses in the Seven Sisters area from Bridge for New Deal Communities (NDC). The successful project received an award for the success of upskilling unemployed residents in the fashion sector and securing jobs on Saturday at a fair celebrating the wonderful work the NDC has carried out over the decade on Saturday. Fashion Enter is proud to have helped so many individuals take a step closer towards their dream careers.

Croydon Boutique Update

Yesterday I had a meeting with Lara from PR Company; Pegasis. We discussed the South African delegates visit and came up with some fantastic ideas on how we will facilitate this as well as generating press coverage for the event. We are looking to use an empty unit within the Centrale shopping centre to hold a seminar, whereby designers will also attend the event to discuss the boutique and host of designers featured. We also discussed the possibility of doing lunch time events in the local area where we will hold small sales as well as give the members of staff within the large company’s advice on styling possible Q&A with the designers.

Boutique Pick of the Week
