 Dear all,

Fashion Enter interview and Drapers Record feature!

Vanessa Isaia Development Manager for the South West was recently interviewed by Journalist/Reporter – Melanie Morides. The interview was to establish what Fashion Enter has been striving to achieve in the South West for a year and a half.

Melanie Morides commented:

'I think what Fashion Enter is trying to achieve in the South West is a brilliant idea. It's a shame that Bournemouth Council fail to recognise that this is potentially such a wonderful scheme that will help thousands of student's progress into the fashion industry. I really hope that the Council will change its decision! '

Leading trade journal Drapers Record then picked up on the story and Senior News Reporter

Eve Oxberry wrote this article on the problems we have been facing for the past year and a half in the South West. Please click here

Visit to the Remploy Factory

On the 18th January Jenny Holloway, Kosa Ravelic and Vanessa Isaia visited the Remploy factory to look at ways of opening a workshop for South West designers….

Giles Verdon Social Enterprises Manager commented:

'It was great to welcome Fashion Enter at our Remploy office in Poole where we discussed various collaborative projects and Kosa Ralevic, the Workshop Manager for Fashion Enter, assessed our skill base and machine capabilities. In this difficult trading environment genuine partnerships have to be the way forward and we look forward to working with Fashion Enter in the future.'

Take a look at what Rachel Cosford from Connected Generation said about the last Clothes Show event when she was fortunate to receive funding from Haringey Council:

'The event was a real success for Connected Generation. It really helped us to get some feedback from customers and to raise brand awareness which, as an online business is absolutely crucial for us. The support from Haringey really was invaluable as this made the difference from making a profit or not!!

I've already put my name down for the next Clothes Show London in June and look forward to hopefully working with you both again. Thanks!'
