Fashion Enter visited the City of London Academy, Islington on December 18th to provide year nine students not only with essential industry expertise and advice, but also with skills and techniques that can be taken to any industry, in any field. From vital decision making techniques to the design process from an idea onto paper into a fabulous fashion creation, Jenny Holloway and Rodney Compton ensured year nine students at the Academy received the perfect introduction to integrate industry with education in preparation for embarking on a career in the big wide world. click here for the full article
High Street Havoc
Department store giants, Debenhams and House of Fraser may be amongst some of the New Years crunch casualties with sales slipping monumentally year on year with a not so bright future ahead. Despite the slashed prices and broadcasted sales over the Christmas period, footfall is still down nearly 10% from 2008.

In the midst of a rapid growth period, latest edition to the Fashion Enter empire, The Workshop has seen an extremely busy quarter. With leading industry giants asos.com and now Jaeger onboard, the girls in Mavros House have been literally working their socks off. The Workshop will be closed over the festive period from the 19th December 08 to 5th January 09, leaving the girls to relax over a well earned Christmas break and New Year’s break.
