As promised the new trendboards for Autumn/Winter 08/09 are now available to download. Working closely with leading trend consultant Caroline Shaw, Vanessa Camelia took a research trip to Premiere Vision, Peclers and Trend Union to compile the latest range of Autumn/Winter 08/09 moodboards exclusively for FashionCapital. The full-colour boards, which are stunning by the way, include: mood/theme, colourways with Pantone reference numbers and key silhouette line drawings. ‘Colour Pop’, ‘Hollywood Glam’, ‘Eco Green’ and ‘Opulent Orange’ are available to download now with various pricing options to suit your needs. Prices start at £50 + VAT per section to £300 + VAT for the full set of four moodboards inclusive of theme, colourways, story and silhouettes.

Young Designer Awards


 


 


Well done to all the young designers that took part in the ‘Fashion Designers and Craft Makers Young Designer Awards’ last Saturday. This exciting initiative aims raise the profile of exceptionally gifted young fashion designers aged between 9-25 years from multi-cultural backgrounds in the fashion industry. It was established by knitwear designer Joanna Marcella, her vision is produce a platform for multicultural designers that contribute to the pursuit of tomorrow’s fashion stars.
