We’ve been receiving some great feedback regarding the site and the hit rate has reflected this. Whatever your views the site is there for you, the fashion community, so all feedback is welcome. The facelift, as we mentioned previously, is due to be implemented at the end of this month.


 


 


 


Fashion-Enter Workshops 


 


 


The latest Fashion-Enter manufacturing workshop with Naz at CSS Limited was heralded as a great success. The workshops provide a valuable insight into the production side of the industry which often gets overlooked. More great news…Fashion-Enter has just received confirmation that a 1,800 sq ft boutique will be made available to the company in Barking. And that’s not all; a tender has just gone in for another Enter-boutique in Kingston. Watch out – an Enter Boutique may well be coming your way soon.

On the editorial front, JoJo Iles caught up with Nicolas Thomas, one of the winner’s of the Graduate Fashion Week Gold Award, for a chat about his successful collection and meeting Mr Alber Elbaz, amongst other things. While Becky Lyon interviewed the glamorous designer Tamara Ralph, co-founder of Ralph & Russo – London. Trends, meanwhile, take a slightly wicked turn with an autumn fad for fetish-esque styling.

Five Minutes with GFW Gold Award Winner 07 – Nicolas Thomas
The judges at this years’ Graduate Fashion Week surprised us all when they awarded the prestigious River Island Gold Award to not one, but two designers. Jasper Chadprajong from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and Nicolas Thomas from UWE, Bristol, were to split the £20,000 prize down the middle.
