Dear All,

It’s certainly hotting up for the Kingston College students involved with the Bentalls 60s-inspired T-Shirt competition. Today is the day that the winning creations will be picked out by Judy Cimdins (Head of Buying Womenswear), Vikki Kavenah (Buyer of the Urban Lounge) and Vanessa Frances (Head of Marketing). The selected t-shirts will be available to buy in the Urban Lounge at Bentalls in Kingston next month. A truly exciting opportunity for the students and Bentalls, of course our Jenny has been overseeing the project with her ‘Getting it Right First Time’ initiative, she is thrilled with the amount of press interest.

Confirmed press attendees include:

British Satellite News
Kingston Comet/Guardian group photographer
Joyce Thornton from Worth Global Style Network

Radio Jackie

& various London newspapers

More on the winning designs soon.

Another very exciting development is the return of Profile, a fashion show, exhibition and competition that supports up-and-coming fashion talent. As Isabella Blow commented:

“Profile has my full support for the young designer talent of today.”

Dates are scheduled for the 5th & 6th November at Islington Business Design Centre where Profile will be incorporated with Fashion Expo. More details to follow.
