It was one of the toughest screening ever this time and as stated by Helen from Rah Productions, “This is by far the hardest screening we have had to undertake for Profile this season. Profile always attracts a high calibre of designers but this season the designers have surpassed all our expectations. Deliberations went on well into the night and I have pleased to confirm that we have the best line up ever. It’s going to be an outstanding Catwalk Theatre this season”.

We are also delighted to confirm that we have the Vodka Company and our established water sponsor Fuji too.  We wish to thank them for their wonderful support at the VIP gala event

The catwalk show times are now confirmed as 2.00pm and 4.00 pm both days Sunday 12th and Monday 13th and the Gala show is 8pm on Monday evening. This is strictly by VIP invitation only so please ensure that you are registered to attend on the night and you have your invite grasped in your hand for the entrance on the night! The aftershow party then commences until midnight.

We had a record week last week at www.fashioncapital.co.uk and we are delighted to be working with Amanda Zuydervelt Editor of Stylebible.com.

After Profile we will be engaging with Style Bible further providing a unique collaboration for online fashion users.

Congratulations to Amanda Conner from the USA who has joined the merry band of freelance journalists on FashionCapital. Amanda’s first article entitled; ‘Who’s who in window displays’. We can already see from the hit rate that this article has received a great response already.

I would just like to thank the hordes of positive comments we have received for the latest issue of the LFF magazine. Recognition here to Jo Iles who has now worked with us for over four years as our main journalist. It’s great to work with such a true professional!

Here’s a hot of the press figure for all you statistians out there!  Britain attracted the highest recorded level of foreign investment for an European country in 2005 worth over £122bn…now there’s a thought for you all designers looking for investment partners.  Cast your net further a field.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine!

Until next week

Regards

“Who’s Who in Window Displays”
First impressions and store windows have a lot in common. Taking a journey up and down the most famous fashion streets in London searching for the best dressed windows is no easy task. Decide for yourself which displays entice you to shop, or possibly, trigger your legs into a speed walk to escape them. Sit back, relax and take a cyber stroll along the most renowned fashion filled streets in London. [More->>]
