NEWSLETTER
This is such exciting news….The LFF are delighted to announce that Profile will be joining forces with the established T.B.C. event on February 12th and 13th 2006 at Tobacco Dock. How impressive is that! TBC has been established for over 5 years and has a literally 1,000s of buyers attending. The Profile event will stay as a not for profit event supported by the LDA and will continue with its highly successful formula of retail sponsors Hobbs, House of Fraser, Debenhams and Whistles. The Catwalk Theatre will still be dedicated to Profile – it’s a fantastic opportunity for our new and emerging designers to gain additional profile with more buyers.

Lisa Larsson – Whistles New Designer Award
“We are very pleased to be working with PROFILE, the partnership will benefit the UK industry considerably. By working together, TBC can offer young PROFILE designers a unique position where they have access to buyers who regularly visit TBC as part of the international buying calendar. With a high level of womenswear now added to the show, this new depth means we hope to support our existing exhibitors by achieving additional draw to a new type of buyer audience. Ultimately our goal is to bring back TBC to its original roots of offering buyers the opportunity to source exciting new product, and with PROFILE and its young designers on board, our buyers will have a larger new offering †TBC Organizers.

We are still at the Clotheshow Live…I have never seen so many girls with money burning a hole in their hands! Overall I would rate the event as a great success for 90% of our designers that were showcasing but it is absolutely shattering. It’s hard being nice all day – it makes your checks ache from smiling so much!
– Romeo Pires – Nicholas “This is the first time we have shown our collection at Clothes show and it’s been good to see many of our existing customers plus attract some new customers to. We will definitely be here again with a bigger stand.

– Clarey by Design – Clare Evans “Much better than I expected. Many thanks for the WCTA for giving me this important opportunity and for the LFF to organise the stands at a reduced subsidised rateâ€
