Hanging it all together for the fashion industry

NEWSLETTER

Just a short one this week as we are preparing for Clotheshow Live at the NEC Birmingham. All our designers are revved up for an expectant five days of selling starting on 2nd December. There are a host of opportunities for all so please, if you are in the area, pop in and see us stand number five, Hall six in the Purple Zone.

Stand set up is tomorrow so we are just about to set off to sunny Brum! The LFF and FashionCapital stand will be full to capacity of designer mannequins, a full screening of Profile 6 event and full information regarding what the fashioncapital.co.uk site can do for you.

Over the last few days we have been monitoring the discussions forums and we have been disappointed with some of the postings in various sections of the community site. We are finding that individuals are promoting themselves on the wrong sections such as Site Feedback. We realise that such individuals are just trying to create a name for themselves but it’s totally annoying. In future, without warning, any incorrect postings made in the Community Section under the Discussion Forum sections will be removed without notification. We all work to very high standards here at the LFF and FashionCapital and we don’t compromise on quality!

If any users persistently continues to post up points in the wrong section, and does not reply to our communication,  then their passwords and entry will be removed off the system. Sounds stroppy I know but it is annoying for genuine users of the site.

This week we will be going live with the Profile 6 DVD on the site…already we have had scores of requests for applications for the February event so please register on both www.fashioncapital.co.uk and www.lffonline.com later this week.

Melenka & Me

Finally for this week, great news about the Delivery Day course at Langley Park School for Boys. The local press Bromley News, Bromley Extra and Kentish Times have all picked up on the concept and are running a feature on the new initiative this week….how great is that for the 30 plus students!

Winners – The Lads.  These two designs will be made into a garment.

Ok, got to fly, hope you are well.

Have a good week.
