Added to this is the re-launch of the LFF magazine that provides additional support for designers and all sectors of the trade. In particular we feature designers for that added extra support from our membership base of 20,000 readers. In this bimonthly issue we have run special features on “Help is at Hand” – an overview of other business support organisations and how they are there to help; the regular Legal Eagle feature from Nick Fenner – a particularly good feature this issue on the difference between agents and distributors and an in-depth look at the success of Select Profile 5 and much much more (of course!). 

The meeting with Mathew Gerson from New York was as inspirational as it was exciting. Various projects are underway and fingers crossed with the next round of discussions for a New York presence for all you talented designers out there making your way in business. This is all the more reason to take advantage of a free e-commerce fully integrated boutique on line so our international contacts can source new designer collections just as in the case with the Brick Lane boutique in Los Angeles.

And the last word on the marathon…. THANK YOU for the money received. Over £1,500 has been raised for Whizz Kidz and £500 for St Mary’s Hospice. Think of all the good your generosity has achieved. As for me my knees still click when I walk but it was worth it!
