So did you all have a merry time over Christmas and New Year? The LFF merrily consumed copious amounts of chocolate and we are all now ready for action for 2005. Here’s hoping that 2005 is an excellent year for you all.
We are currently working on heaps of new projects for the forthcoming year and as the concepts become more established we will keep you fully informed. One of our major projects is to relaunch the LFF magazine. We have a dedicated following behind the magazine and the readership is now in excess of 20,000 – one of the new areas will be to introduce classified adverts. For the heady sum of just £50 you could be advertising your products and services to the right target audience. If you are interested in this “bargain” please contact Anna in the office on 020 8462 1475.
The new launch of the on-line Museum has now taken place and as you can see an amazing amount of work has taken place. We are now offering a new promotional service on this site for TEXTILE DESIGNERS. Any textile designer who would like to advertise their work and designs are invited to contact Vanessa on 020 8462 1475. Just click the News item, then click onto On-line Museum and then finally Textiles and you could see your work advertised on this site FOR FREE. Over time the Museum section will become an amazing resource for the fashion industry providing salient information on Fashion through the ages, Fashion around the world, Textiles, Exhibitions and Periodicals and Library.

Bluewater boutique had an amazing time over Christmas and New Year and we are pleased to report that the boutique will be ongoing into the New Year. Again very grateful thanks to Alan Jones of the Bluewater Management team and it was great to receive press in Drapers Record regarding the launch of the new project. And of course let’s not forget the Kingly Court boutique that also seems to be going from strength to strength month on month. We now have a large cross section of stylists and journalists that frequent the boutique at Kingly court looking for the latest new design for celebrities’ et al.

Many thanks to Dawn Winder. We are now running a new diary section and already the first entry has recorded a high hit rate. Finally Tracy Robinson has now left the LFF on maternity leave – she’s huge! Naturally we all wish her the very best and many thanks for all the well wishes we have received. We look forward to seeing Tracy in March avec babe!
To happiness, health and success for you all in 2005!
Until next week.
