This week we have finished off the ASOS Slash Back Dress, and have started working on new orders.
New Look have recently placed an order for 11 styles, so the staff here are working very hard to meet the delivery dates. BTW these orders are the new Lauren’s Way Collection BY Lauren Gooder.

There’s the fringe Dress and Knotted dress. (Above), and also the Flocking Dress. Liking the detail 😉
I also got to go the Textile Forum on Thursday which was so good. I really recommend going to it for all you upcoming designers, suppliers and students.
I think the next one is in February, put it on your TO DO LIST!
They had a range of fabrics from exotic leathers, shirt fabrics, wools, cashmere, silks, and buttons you name it. I not only saw the upcoming fabric trends, they showcased this season’s fabrics. We should all watch out for the natural and fancy fabrics with lace, and the 3D effect fabrics from embroidery, to crotchet.
For bridal collections they had so much from the floral laces with brushed lace and different types of silk that are defining this winter’s bridal collection.
