‘Rewind the Tape’ Celebrates Fashion from the 80s & 90s

rewind_the_tapeCo-curated by Double Decker, REWIND THE TAPE puts the spotlight on the subcultures that shaped a generation. From Goth to New Romantic, Acid Rave to Pop and everything in between, for one night only the Design Museum is the 80s and 90s.

REWIND THE TAPE will showcase leading and emerging contemporary talent, including DJs, directors, photographers, designers and makers, each influenced by the 80s and 90s. Paula Reed will chair a number of talks with young fashion talentas well as launching her new books ‘Fashion in the 80s’ and ‘Fashion in the 90s’.

Live installations and activities include:

The exhibition ‘Hello, My Name is Paul Smith’, celebrating Paul Smith’s creativity and inspiration will be open throughout the evening.
