Sam’s Story
27-04-2011

Before I started the apprenticeship I was at sixth form in Bromley. It just wasn’t working for me, I wasn’t enjoying the classes I took and left it too late to change resulting in me no longer wanting to be there. I wanted to be out there working and learning at the same time, and that is why I developed a strong interest in the scheme.
I’ve been working for the company since the start of the year; it’s been great and everyone is very kind and helpful to me. It’s amazing considering that the short time I’ve been here I’ve gathered and learnt such a range of different things such as stitching and draping dresses.
I’m looking forward to learning each stage of the design cycle within the next 18 months; it will provide a platform for my desired future career of designing for companies then possibly introducing my own brand into the world of fashion.
