Marios Schwab Looking For Fashion Apprentice!

 

Schwab’s work has been featured in American Vogue, W, Bazaar USA, French Vogue, Russian Vogue,British Vogue, I-D, Self Service, V Magazine, Another Magazine and Dazed & Confused to name just a few.

Location: Dalston, E8  

Experience gained: Positions available for individuals that are eager to gain fashion experience through a hands on role. Throughout the apprenticeship you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks to assist with the running of the studio. Apprentice could help in aspects of sample creation, production, and general day-to-day tasks.

Skills required: Sound knowledge and understanding of pattern cutting, garment construction, machine and hand sewing is needed.

 

Duties:

• Tasks you could gain experience in include Hand sewing finishing for sample creation

• Basic pattern alterations and shadowing pattern cutters

• Tracing and cutting, sewing up toiles

• General admin and running errands

• Research and sourcing trims/buttons, etc

• Assist with Adobe creative work

 

To become an apprentice you must:

• Have 5 GCSE’s graded A-C

• Two of these GCSE’s must be Maths and English

• Own a valid UK passport

• Own a valid National Insurance card/proof

• Be aged 16-24

Please note you cannot have a degree to do the Fashion and Textiles Apprenticeship programme.
