Delivery Day – Emily Tullett

Hello, my name is Emily, and I have now been a full time member of the Fashion Enter team for just a year now, joining in October 2006.

 

 

When I first joined our fabulous team I began working as a part time sales consultant at our first branch in Croydon, shortly after starting I was then offered a full time position which I could not say no to. Since then my role has evolved and the workload continuously increases as the company expands therefore over the course of the past year I have been gradually integrated into the Head Office splitting my time between both locations. Due to the diversity of my role this enables me to see the many different areas of the company, which I thoroughly enjoy also guaranteeing every day like no other.

 

 

I have a number of roles within the company such as a Representing Agent, whereby I distribute flyers and press releases to our many contacts of retailers and buyers. A follow up meeting will then be arranged providing the product is suitable and we will work our magic to obtain the crucial placement order you have been waiting for to launch your label into this wonderful and exciting industry, we have not yet been unsuccessful so any designers out there struggling to find a stockist give me a call and struggle no more!

 

 

I also work two to three days in our Croydon Boutique assisting the general public with vital wardrobe decisions to find the perfect outfit and with our outstanding designers never failing to produce new fantastic ranges on a regular basis my role as sales consultant is made that extra bit easier. A variety of events also take place in the Boutique such as “Face of Croydon” and catwalk fashion shows which are always a great experience to be involved with. Again working with the public can be so rewarding.

 

 

For the other half of the week I am based at the Head Office taking on my role as Administration Assistant dealing with general admin, invoicing and continuing to update our ever expanding directories. Updating the Manufacturers Online Showroom is another responsibility I have undertaken as I have grown with the company, so once again any manufacturers who would like to be showcased in our one and only of its kind, Online Showroom, do not hesitate to get in touch with me and be part of history as well as a fantastic business opportunity as Andrew from the Sampling Unit in London can confirm just how much we have influenced his growing customer base, he receives more enquiries through Fashion Capital than the Yellow Pages!

 

 

I do not come from a very creative background as I took Science’s, Math’s and Economics for A Level however working in the fashion industry has allowed my creative juices to flow unleashing new skills I never knew I possessed. I have learnt so much and acquired so many new skills and attributes in just the short space of one year that nothing less than excitement fills me when I look into my future with Fashion Enter.
