Opening Doors to Prospective Students
University College for the Creative Arts at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester opens its doors to prospective students this Autumn/Winter.
The University College will be welcoming school and sixth form leavers, as well as mature students, to see first-hand the specialist facilities and wide range of art, design, architecture, media, communication courses on offer this October. Regular tours and presentations at Canterbury, Epsom, Farnham, Maidstone and Rochester throughout the open days will provide visitors with a valuable insight into the University College’s varied full and part time courses. Tutors will be on hand to discuss the courses in detail whilst current students will guide you around and provide a student perspective.
The Open Days are ideal for school leavers taking there first steps towards a new and exiting career through to professionals of all ages looking to make a change or further their prospects. They are also ideal for those who simply want to take up art and design for fun and relaxation.With around 6,500 students, across five unique locations, the University College offers more that 80 courses leading to diplomas, degrees and postgraduate qualifications.
The University College has the power to award its own degrees and its students regularly achieve acclaim in national competitions such as the Design & Art Direction (D&AD) Awards, RSA Student Design Awards and Graduate Fashion Week Awards. University College graduates who have gone on to achieve great things include fashion designers, Karen Millen, Owen Gaster and Gharani Strok; Turner Prize nominee, Tracey Emin; and Oscar-winning animators, Daniel Greaves and Michael Dudok de Wit.
